Membership enrolment or renewal

Our membership costs R130 per year, for people over 18 years of age. Children are not required to pay membership fees. 

Each member is issued with a membership card upon joining ComeHike. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to hike without a parent or guardian and are not issued with  membership cards. 

Annual subscriptions may be paid as from 1 December but memberships not renewed by 31 January of the following year will be cancelled. 

New Members who join after 1 September will also receive membership for the following year. Please note: Those who pay before 1 September will only get membership for the current year.

Visitors fees are R20 per hike and R10 for under-18s. 

With a ComeHike membership you qualify for a 10% discount on goods at any Cape Union Mart store.

Please have a
suitable digital photograph (passport format) handy as it is required for the application. Once your application has been processed, you will find 
your new Membership Card in your profile card. Please ensure that all your details are correct and print the Card or save the digital card on your smartphone.

Please note that subs must be paid by EFT only directly into the ComeHike bank account. Cash deposits, cheques, postal orders or cash in hand will not be accepted.

In the beneficiary reference please ensure that you use your name and specify what the payment is for (e.g. annual subs or a hike name). For example: "Joe Bloggs subs" or "John Doe Otter trail".
