Riebeek Kasteel Peak & Olive Festival with Pietie Coetzee

The hike starts at the winery, walking through Shiraz vineyards and ascending to the top – 1,9km and 485m.  It is quite a steep climb, in particular the last 80m which consists of loose rocks. The total distance is nearly 4km and will take fit hikers about three hours. The 360°views from the top should be great on a clear day

Join us after the hike for the Annual Riebeek Kasteel Olive Festival.  You will need to purchase a ticket for R120 either beforehand from Computicket or at the Winery on the day.

You are free either to just do the hike or attend the Festival, but it would be great to do both. Do bear in mind that Riebeek West is about 100km from Cape Town, so you should allow 90 minutes or so to get there.
