Join Tony as he takes you on a hike into history with a visit to the Waterworks Museum.
Your journey begins with a steep ascent up the breathtaking (in more ways than one) Nursery Ravine. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Waterworks Museum! Founded in 1972 and situated next to the Hely-Hutchinson Reservoir, the museum contains various exhibits relating to the construction of the dams of Table Mountain including a beautifully restored narrow gauge steam engine. After lunch you will return via Ash Valley, past the Overseers Cottage and descend by the way of Leafy Ravine. This will be a moderately paced hike.
No smoking. Bookings close Friday 18h00.
