GRADE 2A+
Medium pace. A circular route on the lower contour path on the slopes of Devil's Peak, Oppelskop and the east side of Table Mountain. The path winds up through the bright yellow patches of leucadendron salignum and the darker yellow chrysanthemoides (daisy bushes) that are visible when one looks up towards Devil's Peak from the City Bowl. There is a short, scrappy and overgrown path that gets us up to Tafelberg Road. From there, we join up with the lower contour path. We'll follow this either to the Devil's Peak zig zag path, or if time allows, through to Platteklip. Then we'll drop back down into Deerpark to close the circle. Bookings close the Friday before the hike at 18h00. No smoking on the hike.
