GRADE 2A+
The Baths hot springs was established in 1739 and maintains an old world charm in a scenic rural setting. The water reaches 43ºC at the source. Besides the hot pools and mountain rock pools, there are also Jacuzzis and a cold swimming pool to cool down. The camp sites are well shaded, with ablution facilities and electrical points. There are no kitchen facilities so you need to be a self-sufficient camper. There is a lovely restaurant on the premises and a very basic shop that offers ice, wood, chips, ice cream, etc. We’ll be camping, braaiing and enjoying a dip in the hot water at night whilst watching the stars. There are two short, but steep hikes (1,8km and 5km respectively) offering beautiful views of the valley. Another bonus is that natural hot springs are known for health benefits including reducing pain and inflammation. More reason to join us!
No smoking on the hike.
