GRADE 3A, MEDIUM / SLOW PACE
Please note that this hike takes place on a Saturday.
This is an out and back linear hike in the shadows of the 12 Apostles mountain range. With a total distance of 16km over moderately flat terrain you will have plenty of opportunity to gaze at the stunning views over Victoria Drive and out to the South Atlantic Ocean. Our hike will take us around five hours, with a slightly longer than usual lunch break which will give you time to explore (at your own risk) the Apostles Battery, a WWII military base built between 1939 and 1945, before we return to our start/end point above Camps Bay.
Please earmark the Sunday as an alternative hiking day in case of predicted poor weather on the Saturday.
