GRADE 2A, MEDIUM/SLOW PACE
We will be staying in our own private area of the Cape Agulhas Backpackers in Struisbaai. This weekend is all about experiencing the southernmost tip of Africa, and on Saturday we will hike the incredibly beautiful Rasper Punt Trail (5.5 km) that snakes along the ocean and then turns inland to overlook the point where the two oceans meet. We will also visit the official southernmost tip of Africa and of course pop in at the harbour to greet Parrie, the resident stingray. Dipping in the Agulhas rock pools is on the cards and on Saturday night, an optional dinner at a local restaurant. Self-catering.
