Explore one of the lesser known peaks on Table Mountain. We'll use Rooikatkloof to get to our ascent route of Cecelia Ridge. Once we get to the Overseer's Cottage we will walk through Ash Valley to get to the start of the Reserve Peak path. The scramble up to Reserve Peak is full of interesting nooks and crannies. Descending Reserve Peak is a lovely surprise as one walks though rock formations and clearings that are untouched and beautiful. We'll complete the round trip for the day by using Leafy Ravine to descend.
Please earmark the Sunday as an alternative hiking day in case of predicted poor weather on the Saturday.
