GRADE 3A, MEDIUM PACE
The Leopard’s Loop is one of the most rewarding and beautifully balanced circular routes nestled on the slopes of the Helderberg. Striking a perfect chord between challenge and accessibility, the trail is 8.2 km, and we will follow the route clockwise to comfortably manage the steady, rocky initial incline. As you climb through pristine Cape fynbos landscapes and winding single-track pathways, the mountain rewards you with breathtaking, dramatic vistas of False Bay, Gordon's Bay, and the distant Cape Peninsula. While the steep gradients and occasional rocky scrambles will test your lower body strength, the stunning birdlife and the quiet peace of the mountain are well worth every ounce of effort. There is a cashless entry fee.
