GRADE 2B, MEDIUM PACE

Enjoy a lovely hike on the top of Table Mountain without the big ascent and descent. We will use the cable car to take the hard work out of the hike. From the Upper Cable Station we will hike to the highest point on Table Mountain, Maclear's Beacon. From there, we will drop into the Waaikoppie Valley and visit Orion's Cave. Thereafter, we will continue our loop through Echo Valley, and back to the Cable Station. There is some minor, relatively easy scrambling and a few ladders to climb. Online, ticket prices are R475 for an adult return fare and R130 if you are over 60. If you celebrate your birthday in May, and you are an SA Citizen, your ticket is free.
Please earmark the Sunday as an alternative hiking day in case of predicted poor weather on the Saturday.
