GRADE 3D, FAST PACE
A great ridge route that easily compares to Woody Buttress, but is shorter, cleaner and offers more continuous rock scrambling.
The route begins on a dirt track before heading across an open slope towards the gully between two ridges. Some bushwhacking may be required during the first 30 minutes as we make our way towards the base of the ridge. Rocky steps mark the beginning of the scrambling, after which the route follows the ridge in a continuous scramble towards the summit.
The descent follows part of the Hoerikwaggo Trail before turning off and heading back down to the starting point.
