    An easy to moderate circular route starting at Gate # 2 on the eastern side of Ou Kaapse Weg, climbing Higher Steenberg Peak at first with a tea break at Fat Lady's cave, before continuing the hike to St. James Peak for a lunch break, looking out for Southern Right whales, enjoying beautiful views.  Interesting rock formations, seeing Painted Ladies and aniseed-scented boegoe amongst other interesting fynbos, before returning via Muizenberg Cave (Kliphuis) and Silvermine Waterfall.  No Smoking.   No gate fee.

    A circular route, starting and ending at the Silvermine reservoir, ascending to Noordhoek Peak via Noordhoek Ridge, enjoying spectacular views over Chapmans Peak, Hout Bay and Noordhoek Beach.   From there we hike along the Skyline Path to the top of Blackburn Ravine, before returning to the Silvermine reservoir.  We might even see our resident pair of Verraux's (Black) Eagles.  No Smoking.   Gate Fee or Wild Card.

    The Bloupunt Hiking Trail in Montagu is a challenging trail that showcases the Western Cape Province of South Africa off to perfection. It stretches for 15.6 kilometres and can take anywhere between five and nine hours to complete; depending on individual capabilities, weather conditions and group size. It rises over 1 000 metres. Starting at Joubertpark, the hike ends at the summit. The views along the trail are simply spectacular, changing all the time as one ascends and descends these heights. Deep ravines, crystal-clear streams, intriguing rock formations and the high African sky all combine for breath-taking vistas.

    Ascend Constantia Corner and visit Camel Rock, then turn off the path and discover a series of 3 rocky ledges. We will traverse these ledges and eventually pop out at the De Villiers dam. Quite a bit of scrambling on narrow ledges with exposure to heights.   No Smoking.
